You can find it in this month's edition of Harper's Bazaar who's dedicating a whole fashion spread to the exhibition held at NY's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) celebrating the arts and crafts of director extraordinaire, Tim Burton. Wish I could go there. Oh, well, you can't have it all.

Ok, so one more dream come true: my favorite recording artist of all time, Ms. Tori Amos has just gone and made one of my wildest dreams come true. Want to know what it is? Simple. She's going to release a whole Christmas album next November! No kidding! It's called Midwinter Graces and from the looks of it, it's going to be marvelous. Old classics next to new compositions by Amos herself, I'm betting it's going to become a perennial yuletide record and one that every christmas music lover is going to be adding to their collection as soon as it comes out. I know I am. November can't come soon enough!

Besides being one of my personal heroes, John Waters is the main responsible for my coming out of the closet regarding my Christmas obsession. Why? Because he himself is a self-respected Christmas freak. So much so in fact that he wrote a children's christmas movie that he's trying as hard as he can to get made. It's called, quite appropriately I might add, Fruitcake. Perfect, don't you think?

Anyway, apparently every Christmas he sends his friends a card, all of them highly collectable due to their very original content. In 2006, he send them this Christmas tree ball with... umm, a dead cockroach inside. How charming! I want one, too by the way!

This is quite probably my personal favorite Christmas album. Every song an original, every song sung by a South Park character and every single song written by one-half of the show's creator: Trey Parker. It's quite amazing how they are able to maintain the very high level of quality throughout this record. Not to mention the very high level of outrageousness, also.
